Vehicle Description For sale a1965 Volkswagen Beetle Sedan, 4 speed manual transmission.
This Bug was a barn find in Ohio.
This little gem was completely restored in early 2000's.
The odometer states mileage at 10924.
I do not know if this is the actual car mileage, or if The odometer has rolled over or not but I do know and have paperwork on the New JCS 101R 1200 cc.
40 HP Single Carb.
Motor.
Since the restoration, this car has not seen a winter.
She has been pampered in a heated garage.
Sorry to say that the individual who had it restored had to get rid of it because of cancer many years ago and the story was lost then.
We do have some pictures of the restoration, but that's all we know.
We both thoroughly enjoy driving this classic beetle.
Everywhere we go, whether we trailer it to a show or drive through different towns, people will walk over and talk to us about it.
Driving down town to see the fireworks or to get a meal, makes it so much fun, just seeing the response this little car brings and the smiles on people faces, makes this hard to want to sell.
We are going in a different direction and want to start traveling with our new fifth wheel.
This Gem deserves to be pampered and loved by a collector or someone who would be proud to take it to a dinner and movie.
